This painting is part of a series I began during the pandemic as a way to cope with the uncertainty of that time. I was needing to express the confusion and the tension while also seeking out hope and gratitude to help myself get through it. This piece in particular was about feeling stuck and not in control, but at the same time embracing the moment and finding beauty in it.
